Thanks to @tweetinomglol for the link regarding the 2015-16 PGA Tour eligibility list and it’s order rankings.

It does bring up some interesting–albeit dubious scenarios. As he mentioned, “So if 92-year-old Jackie Burke wanted to play a 25 tournament schedule in 2016, he could?”

In theory yes. Practicality speaking; no. Forget competing, just walking and playing two rounds would be an excruciating long walk spoiled.

Here are the first nine-ranked eligibilty requirements (there are 37 total ways to enter an event)…

1. Winner of PGA Championship or U.S. Open prior to 1970 or in the last five seasons and the current season. Some extremely seasoned players listed.

2. Winner of THE PLAYERS Championship in the last five seasons and the current season.

3. Winners of the Masters Tournament in the last five seasons and the current season.

4. Winners of the British Open in the last five seasons and the current season.

5. Winners of the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola in the last three seasons and the current season.

6. Winners of World Golf Championships events in the last three seasons and the current season.

7. Winners of the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Memorial Tournament in the last three seasons and the current season, beginning with the 2015 winners.

8. Leader from the final FedExCup Points List in each of the last five seasons.

9. Leader from the final PGA TOUR Money List in each of the last five seasons.
