Steph Curry Destroys Hotel Glass Table Practicing Golf Swing
Steph Curry loves checking out his swing. The NBA superstar was practicing his game in a hotel room when he accidentally destroyed a hotel glass table. SFGate.com’s Katie Dowd has the deets.
On Thursday afternoon, Curry posted an Instagram of a shattered glass table in his hotel room. The entire top is destroyed, and shards of glass are all over the chairs and floor.
“When you feel like you’re on the @pgatour so you gotta get some swings going in the hotel room,” Curry captioned the photo, adding the hashtag “idiot” for good measure.
“Golf is hard…” the PGA Tour account replied.
“Told you…” added wife Ayesha. “He’s always playing invisible golf.”
I’m hardly going out on a limb to say every golfer at some time has practiced his/her swing at home or in the office. We are told to practice in front of a mirror checking our posture and swing plane. When doing so, we tend to forget our surroundings. I’ve chipped furniture, struck overhead ceiling fans and cut up carpet. I’m positive everyone has inadvertently maimed some poor object as well.
So continue practicing. But keep an eye out for nearby objects not meant to test your impact position.
