Tour Pro Brendon Todd Gets Surprisingly Snippy About Bryson DeChambeau On Twitter
Brendon Todd hasn’t been in the news much since winning the 2014 Byron Nelson Championship. However, he was front and center on Twitter during a typical Q&A with the Twitterazzi.
Why?
Well, he reacted to a question about Bryson DeChambeau in a most curious way regarding why he (Todd) hadn’t adopted DeChambeau’s unique single-length irons strategy. Like a mad, frustrated way. Golf.com’s Kevin Cunningham has the strange story.
Because nobody has ever f’in done that until this nut came around. Let’s focus on the million guys who have won on Tour that don’t do this instead of the one who does. https://t.co/Qrbz1rp23D

Whoa. Settle Brendon…
I vividly remember how frustrated Tour players were answering questions about Tiger Woods. Justin Leonard had just posted a stout opening round 64 at the 1997 Colonial and the first question was about Woods’ 67 that day. Let’s just say Justin was less than pleased.
As for Todd, dude, chill! DeChambeau, even with all his eccentric thinking, has proven to be a top-notch player. Now, its certainly fair game if Brendon was miffed about Bryson’s snail-like pace. But to get petty with a simple question about equipment, is quite frankly, out of the question.
Social media is going to be the death of all of us.
