Nevermind Slow Play! PGA Tour Allows Players To Wear Shorts During Practice Rounds!!
Shorts are in. We’re so happy the PGA Tour has its priorities in the correct order. While everyone is screaming over Snailgate, the Tour suits proudly announced shorts are now allowed for Tour pros during practice rounds and pro-ams.
Whatever awesome as Joel Beall reports.
Posted in locker room in Puerto Rico. Rounds of golf getting longer but pants getting shorter. @PGATOUR approves wearing shorts for practice rounds and pro-ams, effective immediately. pic.twitter.com/5InHw8JJyA

Of course, the Tour couldn’t even get their timing right as the announcement came after many players had already packed for Puerto Rico.
As the new Player Advisory Council Co-Chairman, I have an announcement to make. #ShortsGame

“It makes the guys a lot more comfortable,” Rory McIlroy said. “… I don’t think there’s anything wrong with professional golfers showing the lower half of their leg.”
And Phil Mickelson’s fit calves were all the rage trending yesterday.
The @PGATOUR just announced that shorts are allowed for pro-am and practice rounds. Word is they saw my Insta-structionals in shorts and felt this move needed to happen. Well played, Sir. Well played!😎 pic.twitter.com/vGCM36EoEF
